Whataweekend!! It took some time but Lucky and I (through rain, sleet, snow, BEER, etc...) made it to the campsight at about 8pm. After shooting the shit with our fellow comrades, we turned in. I woke up in what I can only describe as a warm wet rag. It rained all night and my tent didn't exactly keep all of the water out. Infact, I think it held most of it in! All was not lost though. Da Madman was kind enough to show us all to the location of the best damned breakfast I've ever had. I can't wait to go back. After saying good byes to all of the good folks I met and have met before, I headed South. Thanks again to da Madman, his directions took me to I-5 where it immediately stopped raining. Finally a chance to let the wind dry me out. I took the turn to Hwy 101 at Olympia and was just starting to enjoy myself when "it" happened. "It" was the breaking of my forward primary belt shredding. Shit. I knew exactly what had happened. Found a nice little pull out and confirmed it. Yep, a broken primary belt. Out comes the cell phone and I call Olympia Harley to come get me. The showed up real fast with a trailer and took us away. I stayed the night in a motel after they decided they didn't have the belt in stock. Got a ride back home the next day. I guess the best part of this whole sityation is I get to go pick my bike up Wednesday and finish that ride home :-)
