Came Back to Slugdom

Hi ebrivody,

Got a few quid left so drinks are on me.

Just back from almost three weeks of holiday touring the South of Englandshire on the wide-glad. What's happening in the bar? Is the Gideon still there. Rich have you been converted to atheism yet? Has the Hypercharger become useful?

Right enough questions.

Hi and thanks for the drink to all the proper intros I've missed and ......OK hi to all the improper ones too. I've had a great three weeks in the country of the Auld Enemy starting with the European HOG rally at Cheltenham and then on to some great weather around Devon and Cornwall, Up to Cambridge for a quick degree in Hogology then a few days in the Yorkshire Dales. The wide-glad did really well with about 1800 miles of a variety of riding.

I'll probably post some stuff about the rally and my observations on the first time camping with a scoot. Still not mastered travelling light but boy if you pack things in a certain way you can pull great wheelies!!

Oh and finally I seem to have been slugged or slimed or something while away. That nice Mr Heekster sent me some Elijah Craig bourbon a couple of months back just to show me how well you ex-colonial types were doing in the art of whisky making. In return I sent him a sample of one of our single malts (Damn that postage is expensive from our direction !!) I think I'll bring the next bottle in person. It seems that this transatlantic, ethanol based, drug trafficking has qualified me as a slug, which has been the only good thing about being back at work.

Talk to you all again later, work calls.
